West Bromwich Albion and Crystal Palace 19/10 to draw in this afternoon’s Premier League clash

Posted February 27th, 2016 | By: Crippy Cooke

Competition: Premier League
Market: West Brom and Crystal Palace to draw
Odds: 19/10 @ William Hill

West Bromwich Albion and Crystal Palace lock horns at the Hawthorns this afternoon in a game that could well result in the two sides cancelling either out. They both need a win, but with Albion dropping points at home, and Palace dropping points away, today’s meeting could end up a stalemate.

West Brom are 14th in the Premier League table, while Palace are 13th. The two sides are locked on 32 points from 26 games, and have short of a win of late. Albion came out on top in the reverse fixture back in October, but Palace won’t lie down so easily given their form on the road.

But it’s likely they could fall short in their quest for a much-needed away win given West Brom’s stubbornness on home soil. The Midlands outfit have drawn three of their last six games overall, and their last two at home. Palace have drawn three of their last six on the road, so it’s hard to see a winner at the Hawthorns this afternoon.

As a result, William Hill are giving odds of 19/10 for the two sides to play out a stalemate which is a result neither wants in truth, but may be forced to settle for.
