Looking to bounce immediately back to the Premier League, Championship high-flyers West Brom will head to Hillsborough on Wednesday night.

Starting with the hosts, unable to secure a top half finish last season, it has been a much brighter start for Sheffield Wednesday. In their 10 opening Championship games, the Owls have won four, drawn three and lost three, scoring 15 and conceding 15 in return. While they do hold the fourth best-attacking stats in the division, they also hold the third worst defensive stats. Wednesday currently sit one point adrift of the playoff positions. As for their recent form, they have now lost just one of their last seven Championship matches, winning four and drawing two. However, Wednesday have now failed to keep a clean sheet in any of their last nine matches in all competitions.

As for the visitors, after being relegated from the Premier League last season, West Brom appear to be enjoying life back in the second division. In their opening 10 games, the Baggies have recorded six wins, two draws and two defeats, scoring 25 and conceding 14 in return. While no team in the top half of the table holds a worse defensive record, they do hold the best-attacking stats in the division by some distance. As for their recent form, West Brom are now unbeaten in their last five Championship outings and five of their last eight have seen them come away with the three points but a goal conceded.
