Swansea City 11/4 to suffer relegation from the Premier League this season

Posted December 20th, 2015 | By: Crippy Cooke

Competition: Premier League
Market: Swansea to be relegated
Odds: 11/4 @ William Hill

Swansea City extended their winless run in the Premier League following a goalless draw against West Ham United, and finished the weekend in the relegation zone as a result. The managerless outfit are now 18th in the table after 17 games, and now no side have picked as so few points in their last six outings as the Swans.

Such a lowly position is sure to be a wakeup call for City, with the side having continued to plummet down the table week after week. The welsh outfit were fourth in the Premier League in September, but have gone on to drop 14 places in 13 games. Swansea racked up only one win in that period too which highlights their problem this season.

Previous manager Garry Monk was sacked for his part in Swansea’s demise, but now there’s a growing fear their Premier League status is at risk. The side have failed to score in six of their last nine games, and as a result William Hill are giving odds of 11/4 for Swansea to be relegated this season.
