Ryan Giggs 13/1 to be Manchester United’s permanent manager

Competition: Premier League
Market: Ryan Giggs to be Man Utd next permanent manager
Odds: 13/1 @ 888 Sport

Following the sacking of Manchester United manager David Moyes, long-serving midfielder Ryan Giggs was brought in to be his successor on an interim basis, but many believe the Welshman could be a permanent appointment.

888 Sport are giving odds of 13/1 for Giggs to be the next permanent manager at Manchester United to succeed the sacked David Moyes. His first game as boss will be against Norwich City on the weekend, and their remaining games to come could well put him in the driving seat as the side have three bottom-half sides still to play.

Norwich City, Sunderland, Hull City and Southampton are the Red Devils’ last four games this season, and considering Manchester United have taken 10 points from the aforementioned would suggest they can replicate the feat to end the season on a high.

Giggs has no official managerial experience with a club, but has been working hard to get his badges, and he did reveal earlier this season that being a manager was the next step after his playing career comes to an end.
