Paris Saint-Germain 2/9 to win against Stade Rennais in tonight’s French Ligue 1 clash

Competition: French Ligue 1
Market: PSG to win against Rennes
Odds: 2/9 @ William Hill

Paris Saint-Germain welcome Stade Rennais to the Parc des Princes in tonight’s French Ligue 1 clash, and are big favourites to pick up all three points at home to go within three points of leaders OGC Nice in the table.

Hosts PSG are currently third in the French Ligue 1 with 23 points from 11 games, coming off the back of three wins from four ahead of this evening’s clash. The defending champions are unbeaten on home soil – five games, three wins, two draws – and will go within touching distance of Nice at the summit with a win against travel-sick Rennes.

The visitors Stade Rennais find themselves fifth in the French Ligue 1 table with 20 points this season, and will be on an even keel with PSG if they can win at the Parc Des Princes. However, with Rennes having failed to win four of their five away games, losing three times, PSG could take advantage.

Paris Saint-Germain haven’t been at their free-flowing best under new manager Unai Emery this season, but the French outfit are still a tough side to beat on home soil. And Rennes have struggled on the road, which sees William Hill giving odds of 2/9 for PSG to come out on top.
