With their spot at next year’s European Championships already confirmed, Italy will make the trip to Bosnia on Friday night.

Starting with the hosts, while Bosnia may have continued to save their best performances for home soil, they have continued to show some glaring inconsistencies. In their eight Group J matches this year, they have recorded three wins, one draw, and four defeats, scoring 17 and conceding 14 in return. With a points tally of 10 out of a possible 24, they currently sit five points adrift of second spot with just two matches remaining. As for their recent run of results, Bosnia have won just two of their last seven matches and it should also be noted that each of their last five matches have seen over 2.5 goals at full-time.

As for the visitors, continuing on what has been a stellar run during qualifying, Italy have already secured their spot at EURO 2020. In their eight Group J matches this year, they have recorded eight consecutive victories against no defeats. Holding a nine-point buffer at the top of the table, they also hold both the best attacking and defensive records in Group J. As for their recent run of results, along with the Blues winning their last nine matches across all competitions they are also in the midst of a 13-match unbeaten run. It should also be noted that six of Italy’s last seven matches have seen over 2.5 strikes.
