With the Premier League table reaching the business end of the season, English football’s top division remains incredibly tight at both ends of the table with just a single point seeing a team jump several places. On that note, a resurgent Manchester United will welcome relegation favorites West Brom to Old Trafford.

While the hosts on Sunday afternoon will have known for some time that their Premier League dream had vanished, United will be boosted by their dramatic come back in the Manchester Derby last time out. After 32 games this season, United have won 22, drawn five and lost five scoring 63 and conceding 25 in return, the Reds now boast the second best defensive record in the Premier League this year. With a points tally of 71, although United are now 13 points adrift of runaway league leaders Manchester City, the Reds have a 14 points advantage over falling out of the top-four. As for their recent form, United have now won their last five Premier League games on the bounce and have also scored two or more goals in all of those outings, including victories against Liverpool and Manchester City in that run.

As for the visitors on Sunday afternoon, still adjusting to life without Alan Pardew and with no permanent replacement appointed, managerless West Brom have already all but guaranteed their spot in the Championship next season. After 33 games, West Brom have won just three matches, drawing 12 and losing 18, scoring 26 and conceding 52 in return, the Baggies hold the joint worst defensive record in the Premier League. With a points tally of 21, West Brom now sit rock-bottom of the table and are now 10 points adrift of safety with just six games remaining. As for their recent form, the Baggies have lost nine of their last 10 Premier League matches and are without a win in the league since early January.
