Manchester United 10/11 to miss out on a top-four place following Liverpool’s resurgence

Competition: Premier League
Market: Man Utd to finish outside of the top-four
Odds: 10/11 @ Coral

Liverpool recently beat Swansea City 1-0 in the Premier League which boosted their hopes for a top-four finish, heaping pressure on fierce rivals Manchester United in the process. The fourth-placed Red Devils are only two points and one place ahead of the Merseysiders in the table after 29 games, and have a very difficult run-in to come.

Louis van Gaal’s side face Liverpool (away), Manchester City (home), Chelsea (away) as three of their next four games, which could well decide their final finish in the Premier League. United picked up a total of four points from the three fixtures earlier in the season, and travelling to face Liverpool and Chelsea could see them return home with nothing to show for their efforts.

As for Liverpool, the top-four hopefuls have five bottom-half sides to face in their run-in, and have been in the best form of the season. With five consecutive league wins, and being 13 games unbeaten, Coral are giving odds of 10/11 for Manchester United to miss out on a top-four spot in the table, with Liverpool likely to be the side replacing them.
