Hull City Worth a Punt to Win Away at Cardiff in Relegation Six-Pointer

Posted February 21st, 2014 | By: Soccerscore

Competition: Premier League
Market: Hull to Win
Odds: 19/19 @ William Hill

Despite being the visiting side, Hull City are definitely good money from William Hill to beat Cardiff in a relegation six-pointer this weekend. The Tigers are 19/10 to take all three points at the Cardiff City stadium which would put Steve Bruce’s men on 30 points with 11 games to go – survival almost assured.

Relegation-threatened Cardiff haven’t found any sort of form this season, and most especially since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer succeeded the sacked Malky Mackay. Their four wins on home soil have been sporadic, and Solskjaer’s men have scored just a meagre 19 goals from 26 league games. With their opponents Hull boasting the 7th best defence in the league, it’s a good bet to back the Tigers at 16/5 to win to nil against Cardiff.

The Bluebirds have failed to score in six of their last nine games, while winning just once this year. Hull have looked rejuvenated of late with strike duo Shane Long & Nikica Jelavic both recently getting on the score sheet. William Hill are offering 5/1 for Jelavic to score and Hull to win on the weekend, which would be a very good return.

Nevertheless, backing Hull at 19/10 to win on Saturday would be a wise investment.
