Hull City 1/8 to stay up following impressive deadline day coups

Posted September 2nd, 2014 | By: Crippy Cooke

Competition: Premier League
Market: Hull City to stay up
Odds: 1/8 @ William Hill

Hull did the best deals on deadline day this summer, with Steve Bruce’s side having signed Mohamed Diame from West Ham United, Gaston Ramirez on loan from Southampton, Hatem Ben Arfa on loan from Newcastle and Abel Hernandez from Palermo.

Add that to the signing of Tottenham defender Michael Dawson made days earlier, and the Tigers surely have a side capable of staving off relegation. They have plenty of experience, matched with individual talent, and many will argue survival should be the least of their objectives.

William Hill are giving odds of 1/8 for Hull City to stay up in the Premier League, but they did come close to the end in the end last season, doing the brunt of ground work in the first half of the campaign.

Many felt their Europa League campaign could play havoc with their form, but with the Tigers failing to qualify this summer, City can focus their attentions on the Premier League. So far this season, Hull have amassed four points from their first three games.
