Gremio 6/4 to win against Vasco da Gama in Saturday’s Brazilian Serie A clash

Posted September 9th, 2017 | By: Crippy Cooke

Competition: Brazilian Serie A
Market: Gremio to win against Vasco da Gama
Odds: 6/4 @ William Hill

Gremio travel to the Estádio São Januário to face Vasco da Gama in the Brazilian Serie A on Saturday evening, and are favourites to come out on top given their superior form. Gremio could narrow the gap to leaders Corinthians with a win and will fancy their chances as they’ve been in good shape in recent weeks while the hosts can’t buy a victory.

As for the home side, Zé Ricardo’s Vasco da Gama outfit are currently 12th in the Brazilian Serie A table with 28 points from 22 games this season, coming off the back of three defeats and two draws from their last half a dozen outings. Vasco have picked up just one win from their previous six games and have gone five without victory on home soil, losing three and drawing two.

As for the visitors, Renato Portaluppi’s Gremio side find themselves second in the division with 43 points, having won three and drawn one from their last five games. Gremio boast three wins and a draw from five on the road too, and are being fancied by William Hill with odds of 6/4 for the visitors to win at the Estádio São Januário as a result.
