Competition: Premier League
Market: Everton to win against Middlesbrough
Odds: 4/6 @ William Hill

Everton welcome Middlesbrough to Goodison Park this afternoon in the Premier League, and are favourites to pick up all three points to continue their fine start to the new season. However, newly-promoted Middlesbrough have shown themselves to be no slouches so today’s meeting could be a close affair.

Home side are Everton are currently second in the Premier League table with 10 points from their first four games this season. The Toffees drew their opener to Tottenham Hotspur, before beating West Bromwich Albion, Stoke City and Sunderland. Ronald Koeman’s men have conceded just once in their last three games too.

As for their opponents, visitors Middlesbrough are ninth in the division with five points from a possible 12, but have only lost one game so far. The newly-promoted outfit have beaten Sunderland while drawing to Stoke City and West Bromwich Albion, but their last game was a defeat by Crystal Palace.

And with Middlesbrough scoring just once in their last two games, they may find Everton’s resilient backline hard to penetrate. Everton will fancy their chances of being the fourth side in five games to net against the North-East outfit, and William Hill are giving odds of 4/6 for the Blues to come out on top this afternoon.
