England’s Daniel Sturridge 19/1 to score a hat-trick against Peru tonight

Competition: International friendly
Market: Sturridge to score a hat-trick
Odds: 19/1 @ Coral

England are confident of getting their World Cup preparations off to the best start with a win against Peru, and striker Daniel Sturridge will be hoping he can get among the goals to give him confidence in the Three Lions’ last game before they travel to Miami for their next two friendlies before the World Cup starts.

Sturridge has enjoyed a brilliant season with Liverpool. The 24-year-old has scored 21 goals and made seven assists in 29 games. For England, the former Chelsea man has scored three goals in 10 appearances.

However, he’s hoping to really shine this campaign and get among the goals against Peru in tonight‘s friendly. Coral are giving odds of 19/1 for Sturridge to bag himself a hat-trick as he’s playing against a defence who won’t be any match for him.

The Liverpool man has played in two international friendlies this season, scoring against Denmark in a 1-0 victory, but hasn’t made as many appearances for his country that he would have liked, considering his upturn in form ever since joining the Reds in January 2013.
