Competition: Champions League
Market: Celtic to win against FK Karabakh
Odds: 4/9 @ Betfair

Scottish Premier League side Celtic lock horns with Azerbaijan outfit Qarabag in the first leg of the Champions League on Wednesday night. The home outfit are big favourites to come out on top against the minnows, with the Bhoys having thrashed Stjarnan 6-1 on aggregate.

With Celtic having fallen short in the Champions League in recent yeas, manager Ronny Deila is desperate to have the side performing in Europe again. Following their title win in the Scottish top flight, they have a strong squad of players capable of making it though the qualifying rounds.

FK Karabakh aren’t expected to make it past this qualifying round, but are sure to put up a good fight against Celtic to take them the distance. However, playing the first le at Celtic Park could see the tie potentially over before the second leg. The visitors earned a narrow victory against Rudar Pljevlja to make it this far.

The Azerbaijan side don’t have any notable European stars in their team, but they have been dominant in their domestic league, so they aren’t to be underestimated. Nevertheless, Betfair are giving odds of 49 for Celtic to win against FK Karabakh on Wednesday night.
