Desperately looking for some stability, promotion hopefuls Swansea will host Brentford in South Wales on Tuesday night.

Starting with the hosts, while Swansea might be dreaming of securing a Premier League return this season, they have continued on a lackluster run. In their opening 12 Championship matches this year, they have recorded six wins, four draws, and two defeats, scoring 17 and conceding 10 in return. While they might sit just a single point adrift of the automatic places, the Whites have won just one of their last seven matches across all competitions. Along with failing to win any of their last three matches on home soil, it should be noted that Swansea’s last five appearances have seen both teams find the net.

As for the visitors, appearing to find some stability, Brentford have their sights set on moving into the top half of the Championship standings. In their 12 matches this season, they have recorded four wins, three draws, and five defeats, scoring 12 and conceding 11 in return. With a points tally of 15, the Reds currently sit down in 13th and one point adrift of the top half. As for their recent run of results, losing just one of their last five Championship matchups, it should also be noted that three of their last four appearances have seen both teams find the net within 90 minutes.
