Borussia Dortmund 1/3 to win against Legia Warsaw in tonight’s Champions League clash

Posted September 14th, 2016 | By: Crippy Cooke

Competition: Champions League
Market: Dortmund to win against Legia
Odds: 1/3 @ William Hill

German Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund travel to the Polish Army Stadium to face Polish Ekstraklasa outfit Legia Warsaw in their opening Champions League Group F clash, and are favourites to see past an out-of-form Legia side to start their European campaign with three points.

Home side Legia Warsaw have started the season poorly in their domestic league. The Polish outfit have suffered three defeats from their last four games in the Ekstraklasa, and come into tonight’s Group F game off the back of two defeats from their previous three away games in the division.

And with Borussia Dortmund boasting a considerably stronger squad ahead of this evening’s clash at the Polish Army Stadium, the visitors are being backed to come out on top. Dortmund reached the quarter-finals of the Europa League last season, and finished second in their domestic league to get Champions League football back this term.

FC Porto and Tottenham are sides Dortmund have beaten away from home in the competition in 2016, and William Hill are giving odds of 1/3 for the German outfit to do the same to Legia Warsaw tonight in the Champions League to potentially go top of the table.
