West Ham 5/4 to earn all three points against relegation-threatened Burnley

Posted May 2nd, 2015 | By: Crippy Cooke

Competition: Premier League
Market: West Ham to win against Burnley
Odds: 5/4 @ William Hill

West Ham United host Burnley in the Premier League this afternoon, with the Londoners looking to end the season on a high. Manager Sam Allardyce finds his position at the club under threat following woeful form in 2015, and the Hammers have been sliding down the table as a result. United have only picked up one win in the division since the middle of January, and the supporters have grown discontented.

They stand a good chance of getting a result against Burnley this afternoon, given the Clarets’ only away win was back in November. West Ham beat Burnley earlier in the season too, which should hold them in good stead. The visitors have lost three games in a row, and haven’t scored in their last five Premier League matches.

West Ham have struggled this year, but the Londoners have been strong on home soil, losing just twice at Upton Park in 2015. And with their decent home form ahead of this afternoon’s clash, coupled with Burnley’s woeful run on their travels, William Hill are giving odds of 5/4 for United to earn all three points against Sean Dyche’s men, which could all but seal their fate.
