Starting with the hosts, appearing to bounce back from their 5-0 defeat against Manchester City earlier in the month, West Ham have now recorded back-to-back victories across all competitions and are unbeaten in their last three appearances. Booking their spot in the third round of this year’s EFL Cup thanks to a 2-0 win over Newport County on Wednesday, the Hammers also picked up a 3-1 win away at Watford last weekend. Also losing just a pair of Premier League home matches in 2019, Saturday’s hosts should be confident of making it three wins out of three.

As for the visitors, while Norwich have shown plenty of promise in the final third, the Yellows have continued to show some signs of a struggle. Crashing out of the EFL Cup at the hands of League Two side Crawley Town in midweek, they have now lost back-to-back matches across all competitions and have also lost three of their last four appearances. More worrying for the Canneries, they have already shipped eight Premier League goals in their opening three contests, the worst defensive record of any side in the top-flight so far.
