West Bromwich Albion 6/4 to win against Bournemouth in Saturday’s Premier League clash

Posted August 12th, 2017 | By: Crippy Cooke

Competition: Premier League
Market: West Brom to win against Bournemouth
Odds: 6/4 @ William Hill

West Bromwich Albion welcome Bournemouth to the Hawthorns in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon, and are favourites to pick up all three points in their season opener. Albion are notoriously hard to beat on home soil while Bournemouth have greatly struggled on the road, potentially resulting in a win for the Midlands outfit.

Tony Pulis’ West Bromwich Albion side finished 10th in the Premier League table with 45 points last season, having ended the campaign with five defeats in six. The Baggies seemingly downed tools after surpassing their 40-point target and haven’t been too convincing in pre-season to threaten any change, losing three of their last four this summer.

As for the visitors, Eddie Howe’s Bournemouth side haven’t been setting the place alight either. The Cherries ended last season one place and one point above the Baggies but picked up just three wins on the road which could prove costly. Bournemouth have struggled in pre-season of late too, winning just one of their last four outings.

In the Premier League, West Brom have won two and drawn one of their last four head-to-heads and are being backed by William Hill with odds of 6/4 to see past the Cherries as a result.
