Viktoria Plzeň are currently flying high in the Czech top flight, with last season’s runners-up top of the pack after 21 games. They are five points ahead of their second-placed Sparta Praha, as they approach the business end to the campaign, and could well be in line to win their third title in five seasons.

Plzen have been dominant in the league for the last few years, and this season have only lost two games in 21. Their form has been formidable too, boasting five straight league wins to seal their place comfortably ahead of the pack with only nine games remaining, which has led Betfair to give odds of 2/5 for Plzen to win the title.

They still have to travel to face their nearest title rivals, with a trip to come against Sparta in May, but they could have the league crown all but wrapped up by then if they continue such impressive form. Goals have been shared between the squad this season, but midfielder and current top scorer Daniel Kolar has played his part in their successful campaign, with eight goals.
