Tottenham’s Mauricio Pochettino 4/1 next manager to exit his post

Posted November 10th, 2014 | By: Crippy Cooke

Competition: Premier League
Market: Pochettino next manager to exit his post
Odds: 4/1 @ William Hill

After going down to their fourth home defeat of the season, Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino finds his position under threat already. Despite being head-hunted by owner Daniel Levy in the summer, Spurs have had an appalling start to the campaign.

Stoke City’s 2-1 victory at White Hart Lane sees Tottenham in 12th place in the Premier League table, with 14 points from 11 games. The Londoners have lost three of their last four games, conceding nine goals in the process. Pochettino’s men having only won twice in their last nine, and supporters are starting to lose faith.

As a result of their poor form, and how trigger happy Levy is with his managers, William Hill are giving odds of 4/1 for Pochettino to be the next manager to leave his post. Last season, they finished 6th in the table, and haven’t been in the top-four since the end of 2011/12. Levy continues to go through managers in a pursuit for instant success, and that could mean he cuts his losses on Pochettino early.
