Tottenham 2/1 to win any major trophy in Mauricio Pochettino’s first season in charge

Competition: Premier League
Market: Tottenham to win major trophy next season
Odds: 2/1 @ Coral

With former Southampton manager Mauricio Pochettino now at the helm of Tottenham Hotspur, the Londoners are being tipped to finally enjoy some trophy success.

The last time Spurs won a domestic cup was back in 2008 when they win the Capital One Cup against London rivals Chelsea in the final. Since then, the Lilywhites have continued to fall short. Managers have been and gone as owner Daniel Levy continues to find the remedy to unlocking success for Tottenham.

But under Pochettino, expectations are high, and as a result Coral are giving odds of 2/1 for Tottenham to win a major trophy in Pochettino’s first season in charge.

Spurs would love to end their six-year wait for silverware, while also realising their potential in European competitions too. Considering their new manager managed to get Southampton in the top-half of the table, despite the side battling relegation the season before, it shows what he can bring to the Tottenham squad this summer.
