Competition: MLS

Market: Toronto FC win

Odds: 10/11 @ 888sport

Two sides who find themselves firmly battling it out at the foot of the table, Toronto will host Cincinnati at midnight on Thursday.

Starting with the hosts, despite having to settle for just a single point last time out, Toronto have enjoyed a much-needed boost. In their 26 MLS matchups so far this season, they have recorded four wins, seven draws and 15 defeats, scoring 28 and conceding 51 in return. Managing to muster a points tally of 19, the Reds open the midweek fixtures sat at the foot of the Eastern Conference table and chasing a one-point deficit. However, as for their recent run of results, last seen over the weekend picking up a point away at Colorado Rapids, Toronto are unbeaten in their last three matchups across all formats, recording two victories. Likewise, it should also be noted that Thursday’s hosts have secured back-to-back wins on home soil, including a 2-1 victory against Nashville in their last MLS home fixture.

As for the visitors, only continuing on what has been a hugely worrying run of form, Cincinnati are another side who find themselves battling it out at the foot of the standings. In their 25 MLS matchups so far this season, they have recorded four wins, eight draws and 13 defeats, scoring 26 and conceding 48 in return. Managing to muster a points tally of 20, they open the midweek fixtures sat down in 13th and holding just a one-point buffer from dropping to the foot of the Eastern Conference. As for their recent run of results, last seen getting hit with a 4-2 defeat away at DC United, Cincinnati have lost their last three contests on the spin, shipping 10 goals. Likewise, it should also be highlighted that Thursday’s guests have lost six of their last seven MLS matchups, a run that stems back to August 19th.
