Swansea City and Tottenham Hotspur 14/5 to draw tonight’s Premier League clash

Posted April 5th, 2017 | By: Crippy Cooke

Competition: Premier League
Market: Swansea and Tottenham to draw
Odds: 14/5 @ William Hill

Swansea City host Tottenham Hotspur at the Liberty Stadium in the Premier League this evening, in a game that could be a close affair given the underdogs hosts are strong at home while the favourites can’t buy a win on the road of late.

Paul Clement’s Swansea City side are currently 17th in the Premier League table with 28 points from 30 games this season, coming off the back of two defeats from their last three outings. The Swans are just one point above the drop zone but have been much more formidable on home soil which could see them inflict damage on Spurs – three wins and a draw from last four at the Liberty.

As for the visitors, Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham Hotspur side find themselves second in the division with 62 points from 29 games, having won four on the bounce ahead of tonight’s clash. They are without top scorer Harry Kane, however, and have a woeful away record which could be exploited – one win, two draws, one defeat from last four on the road.

And with Swansea so strong in their own backyard, this evening’s clash could see the two sides cancelling each other out. William Hill are giving odds of 14/5 for Swansea and Tottenham to draw.
