Swansea City 10/11 to get relegated from the Premier League this season

Competition: Premier League
Market: Swansea to get relegated
Odds: 10/11 @ William Hill

Swansea City suffered a 1-0 defeat to West Ham United on the weekend, their fourth loss in their last five Premier League games, and now find themselves in the relegation zone and two points adrift of safety. The Swans have lost 20 games and have the worst defence in the division which could well see them going down in May.

Paul Clement’s Swansea City side are currently 18th in the Premier League table with 28 points from 32 games, coming off the back of four defeats since early March. The Welsh club have impressed on home soil but their problems have been on the road – suffering 12 defeats from 16 away games this season.

A win in their next game could see Swansea move out of the relegation zone, but City are likely to stay in and around the bottom three given the leak goals and have been beaten so often. A losing culture creeps into the squad and their recent slump has cost them dearly.

Clement’s men are desperate to end the five-game winless run, but could well be stuck in the final relegation spot with Middlesbrough and Sunderland below them. City’s poor form sees William Hill giving odds of 10/11 for Swansea to suffer relegation from the Premier League.
