Romania 2/5 to win against Georgia in tonight’s international friendly
Competition: International friendly
Market: Romania to win against Georgia
Odds: 2/5 @ William Hill
Romania welcome Georgia to the Arena Nationala in Bucharest tonight, and are hoping to end their winless run by coming out on top in their exhibition clash to build up some momentum ahead of the European Championships to come next week.
The home side have only lost once in their previous six, but wins have been sparse. Romania have been draw specialists, but their overall form hasn’t been bad. Wins over the Faroe Islands and Lithuania have come between draws against Italy and Spain, so Georgia should be light work for Romania in their own backyard.
The visitors are in bad form ahead of tonight’s international friendly, having gone five games without a win. They have suffered defeats to Estonia and Slovakia, while being held by Albania and Kazakhstan. With Georgia having suffered three defeats from four away games, they are big underdogs to get a result at the Arena Nationala.
Romania are the in-form side of the two, and are being back by William Hill with odds of 2/5 to win against the struggling Georgians. Victory will give the hosts a big boost ahead of the Euros as their winless run has been hanging over their heads.
