Roma 1/14 to beat Qarabag in Tuesday’s Champions League clash

Competition: Champions League

Market: Roma to beat Qarabag

Odds: 1/14 @ Bet365

The Champions League returns for another incredibly exciting round of games as Europe’s top teams come together once again. This round of matches is the last in the group-stages, meaning that the three points on offer are invaluable for most teams, with a spot in the knock0out stages very much up for grabs. With this in mind, Roma host Qarabag on Tuesday.

Roma have been solid in their European campaign and they look like a good bet to go through to the knock-out stages of the competition. Eight points have come from two wins, two draws and a defeat, meaning they are a point above Atletico Madrid. They know that a win tonight is enough for them to go through, but they will be under huge pressure to beat group minnows Qarabag, with pressure doing strange things to teams in the past.

For Qarabag, this is their chance to become Atletico Madrid’s new favourite team. If they are able to secure any kind of points in their game coupled with the Spanish side beating Chelsea, then Atleti will go through. Of course, Qarabag will not be looking to win for Atleti, as they will want to spoil Roma’s party for their own reasons, and with draws home and away against the Spanish side this season, they will know that they can secure an unlikely result. Despite this, we are backing Roma to win with odds of 1/14 from Bet365.
