Republic of Ireland 13/10 to win tomorrow’s Euro 2016 qualifier against Georgia
Competition: Euro 2016 qualifier
Market: Republic of Ireland to win against Georgia
Odds: 13/10 @ Betfair
The Republic of Ireland side are hoping to get themselves back into a major international tournament again, after featuring in Euro 2012. Two years ago, the Green Army lost all three games in the tournament and crashed out in the group stages.
New manager Martin O’Neill is hoping that will change this time around, but he has to ensure the side get themselves in a position to qualify for the European Championship before worrying about their chances.
Georgia are certainly more than beatable for Ireland, and they will face Poland, Germany, Scotland, Gibraltar in the group too. Betfair are giving odds of 13/10 for ROI to get all three points against Georgia when the two sides lock horns tomorrow.
Prior to Euro 2012, it had been 24 years since the Boys in Green made a European Championship, and now they have a chance of making back to back tournaments. Their group won’t be easy, but they would consider themselves good enough to pick up results.
