Real Madrid to beat Manchester United and both teams to score 11/5 for Wednesdays International Champions Cup
Competition: International Champions Cup
Market: Real Madrid win and both teams to score
Odds: 11/5 @ Bet 365
Two sides that are looking to put together their final preparations before the new seasons get underway, Champions League record-breakers Real Madrid will face off against an out of form Manchester United side at the Hard Rock Stadium in Florida on Wednesday.
Starting with Real Madrid, although the La Liga giants could only secure a third-place finish, The Whites did pick up their third Champions League title on the bounce and have enjoyed another stellar pre-season tour. Although they might be making their first appearance in this summers International Champions Cup, Madrid will travel to The States with an experienced squad including Gareth Bale, Toni Kross and Karim Benzema. Real also have a far superior record to United in these contests, winning five of their previous 11 meetings. United have come out on top just twice, with four draws between the two.
As for Manchester United, although The Reds secured a second-place finish in the Premier League last season, Jose Mourinho’s side have endured a horrific run of form in their pre-season tour of The States. Since losing the FA Cup final to his former side Chelsea, aside from a penalties victory over Inter Milan in the International Champions Cup, United drew against both América and MLS side San Jose Earthquakes, more worrying for The Reds, they’re coming off the back of a 4-1 loss to Premier League rivals Liverpool and they have come under heavy criticism.
