It’s a repeat of last season’s Champions League semi-finals as Real Madrid & Dortmund go head-to-head in Europe again. However, this time promises to be a different outcome as Dortmund have had a tested campaign.

When they both clashed last season, it was Dortmund who got the better of the Spaniards – winning 4-1 in the first leg and losing 2-0 in the second. Now Real Madrid look the real deal in the Champions League this season and will be determined to right their wrongs of last season.

Ladbrokes are backing them to win the first leg with odds of 2/5, and they will be coming off the back of a 5-0 win over Rayo Vallecano in the league to give them even more confidence.

Madrid have won all but one of their matches in Europe this season – a 2-2 draw away to Juventus the one exception – and have bagged a staggering 29 goals in eight games. Considering their opponents tomorrow have one of the worst defensive records of the sides left in the competition – with 10 goals conceded so far – Madrid will consider this their best chance to put one foot into the semi-finals.
