Following their very successful season, winning the Copa Del Rey and Champions League, Real Madrid now are hoping to win the La Liga title after winning just one league crown in the last seven years.

Los Blancos finished third in the table this season, just three points off eventual winners Atletico Madrid, of whom are Real’s fierce city rivals.

But Real got the last laugh in Europe, being Atletico in the Champions League final 4-1 after extra time, and as a result they are now being backed to dominate their league compatriots in the Spanish top flight next season.

888 Sport are giving odds of 19/20 for Real to win the league title, with manager Carlo Ancelotti being tipped to enjoy a successful tenure in charge of Real.

The former Chelsea head coach has won league titles with AC Milan, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain. He’s also enjoyed domestic cup wins, but has the chance to win a fourth league title with a different club, which would see him match the record set by manager Jose Mourinho who has won a league title with four different teams (Chelsea, Real Madrid, Inter and Porto).
