Real Madrid 13/10 to win the Spanish La Liga title next season
Competition: La Liga
Market: Real Madrid to win the title
Odds: 13/10 @ William Hill
Real Madrid recently their 11th European Cup after victory over Atletico Madrid in Saturday night’s Champions League final, and manager Zinedine Zidane is now tasked with the job to lead Los Blancos to a first league title since 2012 next season.
Real finished just one point adrift of winners and fierce rivals Barcelona in the league last season, having lost less games than any side in the division. Zidane’s men were in scintillating form in the second-half of the campaign, picking up 12 consecutive wins, suffering just one defeat from their last 23.
As a result, Zidane will fancy his chances of leading the side to glory in the league if he’s backed by the club in the summer. The French coach has enjoyed success with a pragmatic approach, and will want more players of substance rather than the stylish expensive marquee signings Real are used to buying.
Real have performed well in the league, finishing on more than 85 points in each of the last four seasons, and the last two campaigns has seen them closer than ever to ending their wait for glory. 2011/12 was the last time Real won the title, but William Hill are giving odds of 13/10 for the European Champions to go all the way in 2016/17.
