Queens Park Rangers 17/20 to get relegated following poor start to the new season

Posted September 28th, 2014 | By: Crippy Cooke

Competition: Premier League
Market: QPR to get relegated
Odds: 17/20 @ Ladbrokes

Newly-promoted Queens Park Rangers haven’t enjoyed a good start on their return to the Premier League season, with Harry Redknapp’s side amassing just four points from their first five games.

The Hoops, who are currently 18th in the table, have struggled for goals in the top flight too, scoring only three times in total, and many believe Rangers could be going straight back down again for the second time in three seasons unless they can arrest the slide.

QPR have had a tough run, facing sides such as Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United, Stoke City and Southampton, but there’s aren’t many easy sides to face for a newly-promoted club, and Ladbrokes are giving odds of 17/20 for Rangers to go down as a result.

The likes of Burnley and West Brom are also expected to struggle this campaign, but QPR desperately need to start picking up points, or they risk losing ground on the teams above them.
