Queens Park Rangers 1/1 to get relegated from the Premier League in 2014/15
Competition: Premier League
Market: QPR to get relegated
Odds: 1/1 @ William Hill
Although newly-promoted Premier League side Queens Park Rangers have been bringing in a host of new additions to the club this summer, the Londoners still have an ageing, albeit experienced, defence that could be well-exploited in the new season.
The likes of Richard Dunne, Clint Hill and Aaron Hughes as their choices at centre-back have all racked up a lot of games under their belts in their careers, but they aren’t getting any younger either. As a side fresh up from a lower division, it’s expected that QPR will spend a lot of time in games defending, but their backline has an ageing slow spine to it that could see them struggling.
Joey Barton, Karl Henry and potentially Gary O’Neill is a midfield that aren’t likely to keep possession in games against good opponents, and as a result William Hill are giving odds of 1/1 for the Hoops to suffer relegation from the Premier League for the second time in three seasons.
