PSG 2/7 to qualify for Champions League semi-finals at Chelsea’s expense

French Ligue One champions Paris Saint Germain have a great opportunity to progress into the Champions League semi-finals should they avoid a large defeat away to Chelsea on Tuesday evening. The European surprise package won 3-1 at their home stadium, but now face the toughest task of quelling a Chelsea side formidable at home.

Ladbrokes are giving odds of 2/7 for PSG to qualify, of what will likely be by the skin of their teeth as Chelsea are very likely to win in Tuesday’s meeting. But should the French giants score against Chelsea and it will force Mourinho’s men to bag three just to take it to extra time.

Chelsea have been in patchy form of late, suffering three consecutive defeats on their travels, but they did recently see past Stoke City 3-0 at Stamford Bridge. Paris Saint Germain have all but sealed their respective league title this season and are on a 16-match unbeaten run.

PSG will make the Blues’ life extremely difficult if they can get a goal against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, but considering Mourinho’s men haven’t conceded a goal at home in their last six league outings, it would suggest how much of a challenge it could well be.
