Paris Saint-Germain 2/9 to win a third consecutive Ligue One title next season
Competition: Ligue One
Market: PSG to win the title
Odds: 2/9 @ William Hill
Despite the emergence of AS Monaco in Ligue One again, Paris Saint-Germain remain the big favourites to win the French league title. Under manager Laurent Blanc, the Parisians finished nine points ahead of Monaco, with a total of 89 – their highest ever return.
With strikers Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Edinson Cavani sharing 42 league goals between them in 2013/14, PSG are boasting real firepower that should see them stay at the top next season.
They are chasing their third consecutive league crown, after bagging their first under Carlo Ancelotti in 2012/13. Reports are also suggesting they are eyeing up three transfer targets that will take them to a new level in France and in the Champions League.
Chelsea’s Eden Hazard & David Luiz, and Manchester City’s Yaya Toure have been linked with potential moves to the Parc des Princes this summer, and as a result William Hill are giving odds of 2/9 for the French giants to win the league crown for a third time.
