Palermo and Pescara 12/5 to draw tonight’s Italian Serie A clash

Competition: Italian Serie A
Market: Palermo and Pescara to draw
Odds: 12/5 @ William Hill

Palermo welcome Pescara to the Renzo Barbera in this evening’s Italian Serie A clash, in a game that could be a tight game given the two sides are currently embroiled in a relegation battle.

With so much at stake, coupled with the poor scoring records of the two sides, Palermo and Pescara might settle for a share of the spoils, rather than losing the encounter by trying to win.

Hosts Palermo are 18th in the Italian Serie A table with nine points from 17 games this season, coming off the back of a win in their last game. However, their home form has been woeful, losing all eight of their matches at the Renzo Barbera, and have scored just three goals this season. But Pescara have fared even worse of late.

The visitors find themselves bottom of the league with eight points from a possible 51, winning just once all season, have lost five of their last six ahead of tonight’s meeting with Palermo. Pescara have lost five on the bounce on the road, scoring only one goal a game on average, and could well play out a tame affair with their struggling hosts as a result.

William Hill are giving odds of 12/5 for Palermo and Pescara to play out a stalemate at the Renzo Barbera this evening.
