Olympiakos 3/10 to win against Hapoel Beer Sheva in tonight’s Champions League qualifier
Competition: Champions League
Market: Olympiakos to win against Hapoel Beer Sheva
Odds: 3/10 @ William Hill
Olympiakos welcome Hapoel Beer Sheva to the Karaiskakis Stadium in the first leg of the third round of tonight’s Champions League qualifier, and are big favourites to come out on top to put one foot in the playoffs.
Olympiakos booked their place in the Champions League qualifiers after storming to the Greek Super League title with 85 points from 30 games, dropping just five points all campaign. They boasted a 100% home record in the league, which should bode well for them ahead of tonight’s meeting with Hapoel at the Karaiskakis Stadium.
As for the visitors, Hapoel finished top of the Israeli Ligat HaAl prior to the playoffs, amassing 64 points from 26 games, and their away form has been impressive too. 10 wins from 13 away outings should see Hapoel putting up some resistance, but the gulf in class between the two sides will be a telling factor.
Olympiakos are 26th in the UEFA ranking and played in the Champions League group stages last season. Hapoel, on the other hand, have never made the qualifiers of the prestigious competition, and were ranked 276th last season. As a result, Olympiakos are being backed with odds of 3/10 from William Hill to come out on top.
