Nimes 10/11 to win against Valenciennes in Friday’s French Ligue 2 clash

Posted March 30th, 2017 | By: Crippy Cooke

Competition: French Ligue 2
Market: Nimes to win against Valenciennes
Odds: 10/11 @ William Hill

Nimes welcome Valenciennes to the Stade des Costières in the French Ligue 2 on Friday evening, and are favourites to pick up all three points to potentially move two places up the table if results go their way. Valenciennes can’t buy a win of late and are likely to come unstuck as a result.

Hosts Nimes are currently seventh in the French Ligue 2 with 45 points from 30 games this season, coming off the back of two wins and three draws from their last half a dozen outings. Nimes have been solid on home soil too, boasting two wins and two draws from their last four, while suffering just one defeat in their last 12 at the Stade des Costières.

As for the visitors, Valenciennes find themselves 15th in the division with 34 points, having lost three of their last four games. The away side have been woeful on the road this season, winning only two of 15 games on their travels, and are big underdogs ahead of their trip to the Stade des Costières as a result. William Hill are giving odds of 10/11 for Nimes to win against Valenciennes.
