Nikica Jelavic 13/2 to score first against Lokeren in Europa League qualifiers tonight

Competition: Europa League
Market: Jelavic to score first against Lokeren
Odds: 13/2 @ Ladbrokes

Hull City face Lokeren in the Europa League qualifiers tonight, and striker Nikica Jelavic is being tipped to make an impact. With Hull City having sold Shane Long to Southampton this summer, Jelavic has become the side’s first-choice attack to spearhead the front line.

Ladbrokes are giving odds of 13/2 for the former Everton striker to score first in this evening’s Europa League clash against Lokeren, but the Tigers being on their travels could see them struggling.

Hull are expected to win tonight, but their lack of experience in European competition could see them slow out of the blocks initially, with manager Steve Bruce wanting his team to keep a clean sheet first and foremost.

Bruce’s side made the competition this season by reaching the final of the 2014 FA Cup against Arsenal. Because the Gunners finished in a Champions League place in the Premier League, it meant Hull would make the Europa League regardless if they won or lost in the FA Cup final.
