Netherlands 11/10 to beat Mexico and reach the quarter-finals
Competition: World Cup
Market: Netherlands to win against Mexico
Odds: 11/10 @ Coral
After coasting through an extremely difficult group which included Chile, Spain and Australia, Netherlands are being viewed as dark horses to go all the way in this summer’s World Cup, four years on from finishing runners-up last time around.
Managed by the tactically astute Louis van Gaal, a very young-looking Netherlands side have taken the tournament by storm so far, beat Spain 5-1 in their opening group game to really prove their credentials.
Mexico are a decent opponent, but certainly no match for the Oranje, and Coral are giving odds of 11/10 for the Dutch outfit to comfortably see past Mexico as a result.
Netherlands have an in-form Arjen Robben, who has scored three goals in the group stages, and striker Robin Van Persie, who also has three for the tournament so far. They also boast the likes of young forward Memphis Depay, who has scored two from two substitute appearances.
Mexico did very well to finish with seven points from a difficult group which included Brazil, Croatia, Cameroon, but are still not likely to be any match for the Netherlands.
