Motherwell 10/11 to win against Kilmarnock in Saturday’s Scottish Premiership clash

Posted September 9th, 2017 | By: Crippy Cooke

Competition: Scottish Premiership
Market: Motherwell to win against Kilmarnock
Odds: 10/11 @ William Hill

Motherwell welcome Kilmarnock to Fir Park in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday afternoon, and are favourites to come out on top after their recent resurgence. Motherwell have recovered after a poor start to the season, while Kilmarnock are still awaiting their first league win.

Victory for Motherwell could see them leapfrog Rangers in fourth place, while Kilmarnock could go bottom if they lose. As for the hosts, Steve Robinson’s Motherwell side are currently seventh in the Scottish Premiership table with six points from four games this season, coming off the back of consecutive wins.

After starting the season with defeats to Rangers and St Johnstone, Motherwell have since beaten Ross County and Hearts. They could climb three places up the table with a win, and will fancy their chances of picking up all three points given the poor start made by their opponents.

As for the visitors, Lee McCulloch’s Kilmarnock side find themselves 10th in the division with just one point this season, having lost their first three games to St Johnstone, Hearts and Celtic, before drawing with Hamilton Academical. Such woeful form sees William Hill giving odds of 10/11 for Motherwell to win against Kilmarnock this weekend.
