With rumours liking a new striker to come in to AS Monaco this summer, existing attacker Falcao could be the one who is sold to fund any deals coming in.

The 28-year-old forward scored nine goals for the French club last season, but has been rumoured to be hankering for a move to Real ever since he signed Monaco.

Previous reports suggested that the Colombian was due to sign for Real before opting for France, but former side Atletico would never sell to a rival.

But now he’s at Monaco, he’s far more likely to get a move to the European champions, and Betfair are giving odds of 4/9 for Falcao to finally make the long awaited move to the Santiago Bernabeu.

His scoring record suggests he will be a success upon his potential return to La Liga too, with the 28-year-old scoring 52 league goals in 68 La Liga outings for Atletico. Monaco signed him for £52M last summer, so Real will have to stump up a lot to procure his signature.
