Mexico 7/2 to win tonight’s international friendly against strugglers Netherlands
Competition: International friendly
Market: Mexico to win against Netherlands
Odds: 7/2 @ 888 Sport
Netherlands have been struggling of late under new manager Gus Hiddink following their World Cup elimination in the semi-final. The Oranje lost 2-0 against Italy in a friendly two months ago, and now they have a difficult clash against Mexico tonight.
It’s still a very young squad, full in international inexperience, and the national team manager has already found his immediate future being speculated about, so it’s not a happy Netherlands camp at present. While they do have quality in the side, the Dutch have a Euro 2016 qualifier days later than Huddink will be desperate for a result in.
The Oranje have already lost to the Czech Republic and Iceland in the qualifying group stages of Euro 2016, so they can ill afford to drop more points when they face Latvia on the 16th of November.
As a result, 888 Sport are backing Mexico to get a win against the Dutch side, with their poor form coupled with the likelihood of a weakened side being put out tonight to rest legs for the Latvia clash.
