Manchester United 7/2 to finish outside of the Premier League top-four this season
Competition: Premier League
Market: Man Utd not to finish top-four
Odds: 7/2 @ William Hill
Manchester United were held to a 1-1 draw against Swansea City in Sunday’s Premier League clash, leaving them one point adrift of the top-four with four games remaining. The Red Devils are now reliant on slip-ups to third-placed Liverpool and fourth-placed Manchester City to finish in a Champions League spot but injuries might hamper them.
Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United side are currently fifth in the Premier League table with 65 points from 34 games this season, having won three and drawn three of their last half a dozen outings. United have drawn their last two games and can’t rack up a series of wins on home soil which has led to them being outside of the top-four.
Liverpool and Manchester City have their destiny in their own hands, albeit having dropped points in recent weeks too, but Manchester United have a difficult run-in – games against Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur – and have a number of key players out injured – Paul Pogba and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
As a result, William Hill are giving odds of 7/2 for Manchester United to finish outside of the Premier League top-four this season, meaning they could miss out on Champions League football.
