Manchester United 4/6 to miss out on top-four next season
Competition: Premier League
Market: Man Utd ‘to not make top-four’
Odds: 4/6 @ William Hill
Following a woeful Premier League campaign that has seen manager David Moyes sacked from the club, Manchester United could face the prospect of going a second consecutive campaign of failure. United failed to make the Champions League this season and bookmakers William Hill are giving them odds of 4/6 to miss out on a top-four finish again in 2014/15.
This season, Manchester United find themselves in 7th place in the league, with 57 points from 34 games. They are 13 points adrift of a Champions League place, and many believe a similar situation will occur next season with a new manager.
Such is the perceived scale of the task ahead to have the club back contending for trophies, there is a real worry that United could be missing out on more Champions League participation.
A new manager, player overhaul, and the weight of expectation on the club to better the 2013/14 campaign, it could be another season of disappointment for the Lancashire outfit.
