Manchester United 2/5 to finish outside of the top-four in the Premier League this season
Competition: Premier League
Market: Man Utd to finish outside of the top-four
Odds: 2/5 @ William Hill
Manchester United have endured a difficult start to life under new manager Jose Mourinho, currently sitting sixth in the Premier League table with 18 points from a possible 33. The Red Devils recently ended a two-month wait for a league win, but their problems are far from solved.
United are already six points adrift of the top-four in the Premier League, and have failed to score in three of their last four. The Red Devils have struggled for consistency in all competitions, picking up just two wins from their last seven, and could well miss out on Champions League football again as a result.
Summer signings made haven’t all had the desired effort at Manchester United early into the season, and existing players have greatly underperformed. Juggling Europa League football has proven to be little other than a distraction, and the Red Devils have been fodder for the elite clubs under Mourinho.
This season, Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea have taken points off Manchester United in the Premier League this season, and William Hill are giving odds of 2/5 for the Red Devils to miss out on a top-four finish as a result.
