Manchester City are being tipped to win the Premier League title next season under new manager Pep Guardiola. The Spanish coach is coming off the back of having won three Bundesliga crowns at former side Bayern Munich, and given the squad he’s inheriting at the Etihad, Guardiola is expected to deliver at the first time of asking in England.

Despite the Sky Blues’ dismal performance in the Premier League last season, Guardiola isn’t likely to make the summer overhaul that the media have predicted. The 45-year-old will want to implement a new philosophy at the club, but he has the tools at his disposal with City boasting such strength in depth.

City have finished in the top-four of the Premier League in each of their last six seasons, and boast talent such as Sergio Aguero, David Silva and Kevin De Bruyne in the attack. As a result, Guardiola should certainly be looking to challenge for major honours given how talented his side is.

The Sky Blues are sure to have competition from the likes of fierce rivals Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea, while Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur could take points off the top sides too, but City are still the best club in regard to players, and now they have a manager boasting six league titles (Barcelona & Bayern Munich) in seven active years.
