Manchester City 2/5 to see past struggling Aston Villa on Sunday afternoon
Competition: Premier League
Market: Man City to win against Aston Villa
Odds: 2/5 @ Coral
Manchester City travel to face Aston Villa in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon which will be Villa manager Remi Garde’s first game since replacing the sacked Tim Sherwood. It’s not an ideal debut outing for the French coach, but there is no pressure on his shoulders to come out on top immediately given Villa’s woes this season.
The Midlands club are rock bottom of the table after 11 games, and have lost seven games on the bounce in the Premier League. They haven’t won since the opening day, and risk losing ground on sides outside of the bottom three if they continue dropping points. They have picked up just one point on home soil in the league, and have a real task to beat an in-form Manchester City.
The visitors are leading the way in the Premier League early on, and have picked up 10 points from their last four games. The Sky Blues have enjoyed European success in the form of three consecutive victories to boo their place in the last-16 of the Champions League, and will be full of confidence to win at Villa Park.
With Aston Villa having such a poor home record this season, and Manchester City having won three of their five away games in the league, this weekend’s clash should see City coming out on top.
