Manchester City travel to the Stadium of Light to face Sunderland in the Premier League on Tuesday night, and are big favourites to pick up all three points to boost their title hopes, while confining the Black Cats to their third defeat at home in their last five league games.

City have been enjoyed a real upturn in form of late, winning three and drawing three of their previous six in the division, while having beaten Everton in the Capital One Cup semi-final and Aston Villa in the FA Cup. And with Sunderland struggling of late, the Sky Blues are in great shape to take advantage.

The home side are currently 19th in the Premier League table after 23 games, having conceded more goals than any other team. Sunderland have dropped points in four of their last six games at the Stadium of Light, and with a free-scoring City side now performing on the road, Tuesday’s clash could be a one-sided affair.
